Today we fought the rain to see !!!. No, I’m not really excited (although it was pretty amazing). !!!, pronounced chk, chk, chk, is dance-punk band from Sacramento that performed earlier today at Austin City Limits. When we first arrived at the set I wasn’t impressed by the lead vocalist, Nic Offer. I thought that his voice was a little grating and that he couldn’t dance to save his life but after only one song we all fell a little bit in love with !!!. The dancing didn’t get any better but there was something unbelievably charming about the Nic Offer. He jumped out into the rain and danced on the speakers, showing that he wasn’t afraid to get wet if it meant dancing with his fans. He high-fived everyone and even jumped over the gate into the hordes of fans. The camera men went crazy trying to follow him and the security guards just gave up. I don’t know if I could listen to his whole CD but they band put on an amazing show!!!!
