We’ve experienced a complete blog makeover! For the past few months Peter and I have been working with a fabulous graphic designer to transform out little piece of the web into something beautiful. DangerDom Studios did such a great job interpreting my wants and needs into a beautiful space. It’s such a joy to log on and look at something that feels soothing rather than scraped together. Since we all love a good before and after, here is a screen shot of the blog before and one of it now:
Pretty amazing, huh? It’s a fresh new start for a fresh new year. I love beautiful design. I use Google Reader to stay on top of all of my blog reading but if a site is really pretty I will visit it everyday. I just can’t get enough of looking at pretty things. So you can see why I’m so excited about this beautiful space that DangerDom has created for us to share our words, thoughts, and home. I hope you’re happy with it too! Happy Reading!
You know, I have to say that I thought the older layout was adorable too but this new design really is super soothing! I love the color palette, the header, and the layout! And, you know what else? It’s so beautiful that I might just have to keep coming back here instead of using Reader.

Thanks Meg! That’s so nice of you to say. Maybe it’s one of those things that when something is yours all the imperfections drive you crazy but if it belonged to someone else then you wouldn’t even notice. Either way, I’m very happy about the new look!
