Yall are so sweet. In all fairness I helped pick out the ring. Peter proposed with a regular everyday ring that I had said that I liked and then we designed the actual ring together and had it made. I just wanted to be a part of it since it's such a symbol of the decision (by both of us) to spend our lives together and because I have a few friends who secretly hate their rings. Not that I don't trust Peter's opinion but you do have to wear it everyday... And thanks for the compliment of my fingers Meg. It's funny because I was going to add in my post that I have weird hands to the post, but refrained at the risk on sounding too self-depreciating. Not creepy at all! We're all too hard on ourselves.
