We picked good guys Meg! Lee sounds like he is really sweet! We are one step away from finishing the living room (for now) so I think we're going to do that and then maybe add some things to the master bedroom. I'd also love to get a chest to go in front of the bed so we could stuff all our throw pillows in there. Maybe its time to do some of the things that have been driving me crazy and then go back to one room at a time.

Awwww, what a sweet gift! I love how he surprised you!

That mirror is beautiful. So sleek and chic. love it! I wish I had the patience to do one room at a time, but I'm all over the place. I have decorating ADD, and while I'm working on one room, I'll have a eureka! moment for another room, and I end up running back and forth all over the house.

A couple of days after I had my epiphany about our guest room, I came home from work and Lee had propped paint, primer and supplies on the guest bed along with a note that said he wanted the room to be as pretty as his wife. So ooey gooey, but his surprise made me melt. He also surprised me with a cute rug he found on Craig's List, which was a great find.

And yes. I'm thinking what you're thinking. Not to be a bad influence, but curtains would be a pretty fast and easy project and could make a big impact! I can't wait to see how the room turns out.
