Péché
Péché is a relatively new bar in the warehouse district of Austin that is definitely worth checking out. It has a classy appeal that’s great for a small group of friends. The bar boasts its pre-prohibition style cocktails and its French cuisine created by chef Jason Dodge. We visited with some friends about a month ago and we can vouch that their “mixologists” really are serious about their drinks. Three out of four of us couldn’t decide what to order–Peter turned out to be the decisive one– and so the bartenders started asking each of us questions about what we like and what we don’t like. Within minutes they had three drinks whipped up for all of us and they were all amazing. Dodge will release his new fall menu next week. Hopefully he won’t eliminate the pommes frites!
If you’re in the Austin area go check it out sometime on 208 W. Fourth Street. Plus, this weekend is the UT vs. OU football game which means downtown will deserted!
